Simply Cheesy no cheese sauce

*add to any dish for extra yum



  • 2 medium potatoes 

  • 2 medium carrots 

  • ¼ cup raw cashews 

  • 1 cup water 

  • 1 lemon squeezed 

  • ½ cup nutritional yeast 

  • 2  tsp sea salt 

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder 

  • 1 tbsp onion powder 

  • 2 tsp paprika or chilli powder (optional for color and flavor)



Boil or cook in an instant pot the potatoes, carrots, cashews and water for about 10 minutes until soft. Pour boiled ingredients into a blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy like melted cheese. This recipe makes an extremely thick sauce and it may be difficult to blend if you do not have a powerful blender. You can try using more water to make it thinner if it’s too difficult to blend.
